PW800 Mobile Repair Team (MRT) Technician

What You Will Do

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Mobile Repair Team as a PW800 Mobile Repair Technician. In this role based in the Savannah, GA area, you will perform on‑wing engine inspections, repairs, and installations for P&W customers at onsite service centers, U.S. and international airfields, and other locations. You will handle engine troubleshooting, diagnostics, and EEC software upgrades while directly supporting customers and maintaining AOG (Aircraft on Ground) status.
Key Responsibilities

Perform mobile repair activities in U.S. and non‑U.S. locations, refurbishing and returning engines, modules, and components to service.
Maintain availability status for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations.
Provide hangar and field support work, including airframe interface and direct customer interaction.
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
Perform engine troubleshooting, diagnostics, and EEC software upgrades.
Support all PWC Program activities, including PW800 and legacy engine programs as required.
Work flexibility after hours, on weekends, and holidays as needed.
Travel up to 90% of the time, both domestically and internationally, with extended hours associated with the role.
Additional Information and FAA Requirements

FAA Anti‑Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program: The selected candidate must complete a pre‑employment FAA drug screen and maintain a negative result before transfer to the position.
Vision Program: The selected candidate will participate in the PWES Vision program.
Qualifications You Must Have

Associate’s degree or equivalent 2‑year post‑high‑school training with a minimum of 6+ years’ experience in engine part inspection, refurbishment, troubleshooting, repairs, and return to service of engines, modules, and components.
Active Airframe & Powerplant License.
Ability to obtain a U.S. passport and international visa.
Current valid driver’s license.
Qualifications We Prefer

P&W‑powered Airframe experience.
4‑year degree in Aviation Maintenance Management.
Experience in a customer‑facing technical support role.
Prior PW800 shop and field experience.
Prior Pratt & Whitney engine experience, including HSI (hot‑section penetration, detail inspection, reinstallation).
Heavy hangar/FBO/field experience: rigging, R&I, MRP’s, aircraft interface.
