Regional Network Development Manager

Fiat Powertrain Technologies of North America, Inc. (a global Brand under our parent company, Iveco Group)

is looking for a Regional Network Development Manager of North America that is a strategic leadership role responsible for building, optimizing, and governing FPT Industrial’s distributor and service network across the region. This position is critical to driving top-line growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence by ensuring the right network footprint, partner performance, and contractual framework are in place.

This role centralizes accountability to:

Drive network performance and expansion strategy

Ensure contractual and operational governance

Deliver data-driven decision-making tied to revenue and service outcomes

Build a scalable, best-in-class distributor network aligned with global standards

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a 5-year North America network strategy, including coverage expansion, gap analysis, and optimization of distributor footprint

Conduct SWOT and market analysis to identify underperforming or underserved regions

Lead initiatives to appoint, develop, restructure, or terminate distributors and service dealers

Monitor competitor network strategies and share of wallet trends to inform business decisions

Ensure alignment with global network development standards while adapting to regional needs

Distributor Performance & KPI Management

Own regional KPI framework that is directly tied to revenue, service performance, and customer satisfaction

Lead performance mapping of distributors and service partners, identifying risks and opportunities

Drive quarterly performance reviews with cross-functional stakeholders

Develop and implement performance improvement plans with measurable outcomes

Align distributor performance with annual sales targets and budget commitments

Contract Management & Governance

Serve as the regional owner of all distributors, dealers, OEM, and supply agreements

Act as the primary interface with Legal, ensuring contracts are current, compliant, and aligned with evolving business needs

Maintain secure, centralized contract documentation (digital and physical governance)

Educate internal teams and partners on contractual obligations and performance expectations

Ensure contracts enable flexibility to drive performance and enforce standards

Standards, Compliance & Network Quality

Develop, implement, and monitor Dealer and Distributor Standards across North America

Ensure compliance with FPT identity, facility, and operational standards

Design and execute audit programs to evaluate partner performance and adherence

Drive continuous improvement to ensure high-quality, consistent customer experience across the network

Process Development & Continuous Improvement

Design and implement scalable processes for:

Performance tracking and reporting

Network governance and decision-making

Lead process standardization and documentation, ensuring adaptability to business evolution

Partner cross-functionally to optimize systems, tools, and reporting capabilities

Onboarding & Network Enablement

Develop and implement a best-in-class distributor onboarding program

Create centralized onboarding tools, training materials, and digital resources

Establish repeatable onboarding processes with audit capability and performance tracking

Ensure new partners are fully aligned with FPT standards, systems, and expectations

Cross-Functional Leadership & Business Integration

Act as the central coordination point across Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Credit, and Marketing

Align sales plans with credit limits to prevent revenue loss due to financial constraints

Support global and regional initiatives through continuous collaboration with headquarters and other regions

Provide leadership with actionable insights and reporting to drive strategic decisions

Systems, Data & Network Infrastructure

Own and maintain network databases, dealer locator tools, CRM integrations, and reporting systems

Ensure accurate and timely updates of distributor and dealer information

Manage system access and functionality across the network

Leverage data analytics to drive performance insights and decision-making

Additional Responsibilities

Support internal team operations, including cross-training and shared responsibilities

Manage key administrative processes (e.g., approvals, tracking, reporting tools)

Contribute to broader business initiatives with an entrepreneurial and solutions-oriented mindset

Manage the regional Network Development budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources

Support business planning and forecasting related to network investments and initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field

7+ years of experience in network development, dealer/distributor management, or business development

Proven experience in contract management and cross-functional leadership

Strong background in data analysis, KPI management, and performance improvement

Experience working in a global, matrixed organization preferred

Experience with engine or equipment manufacturing and distribution highly desired

Strategic thinking and business planning

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Project management and organizational skills

Ability to influence without direct authority

High level of accountability and ownership

Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on results

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience with CRM systems, network databases, and reporting tools

Familiarity with digital platforms and system optimization tools

Travel Requirements

Up to 50–70% travel domestically
