Project Leader
to a leadership position. The Project Leader will support overall strategy, execute deliverables, and deliver profitable outcomes. This is a direct placement role on‑site at
Ashburn, Virginia .
The Project Leader will provide overall development, training and leadership to Junior Project Leadership, Field‑Superintendents and Trades personnel as it relates to strategic planning, implementation and ownership of project completion. This is an opportunity to join rapidly expanding data center work in the NOVA region.
Responsibilities
Proficient understanding and knowledge of Telecommunication Systems including Fiber Optic and Structured Cabling, CCTV, OSP & ISP Copper, along with DAS.
Leading the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems.
Assisting the project superintendent and engineering in the preparation of project documentation, project layout, and field office support.
Coordinating and running a project kick‑off meeting (PKOM) and key monthly project reviews (KPR).
Researching and compiling submittals, identifying and pricing change orders and preparing estimates for projects.
Required Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in construction specific to telecommunications and security systems, and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science, Information Technology, Construction Management or an engineering discipline.
Proficiency in the Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling and general contractor scheduling.
Minimum 4 years of experience and established knowledge in complex markets on projects specific to federal aviation, government airports, higher‑education and information transit systems.
Ability to use software such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Accubid, Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office.
No clearance required, but ability to obtain clearance.
Compensation
Salary range: $100,000–$130,000 depending on experience.
