Patient Care Tech Cardiac Intermediate Part time Nights

Position
Part‑time night shift 6 pm–6:30 am. Night shift does not include weekends.
Unit Overview
26‑bed cardiac step‑down unit, part of the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute (BCVI) within Northwestern Medicine. Provides advanced cardiac care in a suburban setting, caring for patients with a variety of cardiovascular diagnoses, including post‑cardiac surgeries and procedures. The unit ranks in the country’s top decile of patient satisfaction over 8 years. Cross training opportunities available to the Telemetry Department.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
For nursing students: completion of one clinical rotation.
Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or nursing students with one semester of clinical completed.
CPR – Basic Life Support.
Preferred
Phlebotomy experience.
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant program or graduate of a Phlebotomy course.
