Part-Time Dental Assistant Instructor

Charter College is seeking part‑time Dental Assistant instructors to teach blended courses at our Oxnard, CA campus during the day.
Our 5‑week courses average 10 hours per week, on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (5:30 p.m. for some Tuesday/Thursday slots).
Job Duties
Prepare syllabi consistent with course descriptions.
Model appropriate workplace conduct for students.
Gather feedback to assess student comprehension.
Maintain academic standards.
Evaluate students’ progress regularly and share evaluations promptly.
Be available to address student concerns.
Review and respond to student evaluations of instruction.
Contribute to student retention efforts.
Serve on faculty committees and attend official college functions.
Keep official transcripts of formal studies on file.
Continue professional growth through additional courses of study.
Requirements
Current Certification in Dental Assisting.
Registered Dental Assistant.
At least two (2) years of field experience.
Excellent customer‑service skills.
Experience in a blended teaching environment preferred.
Compensation
Part‑time, non‑exempt hourly.
Pay: $25.00 per hour.
Day shift: 9:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. (Mon & Wed) and 9:00 a.m.–3:45 p.m. (Tue & Thu).
