Upper Manhattan, Midtown Manhattan, and Englewood, NJ
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 4 Clinic Days + 1 Remote Admin Day
Overview
A leading NYC health system is seeking
two (2) Advanced Practice Providers (NPs or PAs)
to join its
Spine Surgery division within Orthopedics . This is a
100% outpatient role
supporting a high-volume, collaborative spine team across multiple locations in NYC and Northern New Jersey.
This position offers a balanced schedule with
four in-clinic days and one remote administrative day , working alongside top orthopedic spine surgeons and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive outpatient care to spine surgery patients (pre-op, post-op, and follow-ups)
Perform patient evaluations, histories, physical exams, and clinical documentation
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (imaging, labs)
Develop and manage treatment plans in collaboration with spine surgeons
Provide patient education on surgical procedures, recovery, and conservative management
Assist with care coordination and referrals as needed
Manage inbox, results review, and documentation during designated admin day
Schedule & Work Model
4 clinic days (on-site)
across:
Upper Manhattan
Midtown Manhattan
Englewood, NJ
1 remote administrative day
(non-clinical work)
Qualifications
Licensed
Nurse Practitioner (NP)
or
Physician Assistant (PA)
Active NY or NJ license required; both strongly preferred
National certification required (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, etc.)
Ability to
commute between all three locations
Experience in orthopedics, spine, neurosurgery, or related specialty preferred (not required)
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
