
Quality Lab Technician

Overview
The Quality Lab Technician will work in a laboratory setting to test and evaluate process and finished products that support the healthcare industry. This role focuses on performing a variety of quality control tests, accurately documenting results, and collaborating with production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Quality Lab Technician
Responsibilities
Check in and log process and finished products as they arrive in the lab for testing.
Perform strength and tensile testing on materials to ensure they meet required specifications.
Document and record all lab test results clearly and accurately in the appropriate systems and logs.
Follow established laboratory procedures, quality control protocols, and safety guidelines at all times.
Support a team-based environment by communicating effectively with coworkers in the lab and on the production floor.
Maintain organization in the lab, including proper handling of films, foils, chemicals, and peelable solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by reporting issues, suggesting improvements, and supporting process enhancements.
Essential Skills
Experience with quality control or laboratory testing, which may include academic laboratory experience, with industry experience preferred.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment such as production, manufacturing, or food service.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate documentation of test results.
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and samples efficiently.
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and collaborate with lab coworkers and production personnel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate’s degree or a high school diploma with relevant quality or laboratory experience.
Experience with chemistry concepts and laboratory practices.
Prior experience in a production, manufacturing, or food service environment that demonstrates the ability to work under time constraints.
Demonstrated ability to stay organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced setting.
Interest in career growth opportunities, including potential movement into different departments or leadership roles.
Ability to interact professionally when clients visit the facility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Addison, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.10 - $23.10/hr.
