Otolaryngology Physician

Locum ENT Physician(Kearney, NE)

CHI Health Good Seeking a Board Certified ENT physician to provide weekend call coverage at a Level II Trauma Center. Coverage is needed due to a reduction in permanent staff to maintain required 24/7 ENT availability.

Position Highlights:

• Level II Trauma Center hospital setting

• Provide ENT call coverage and respond to trauma and emergency department consults as needed

• Scheduled 2026 coverage dates:

  • July 3 (12:00 PM) July 6 (7:00 AM)

  • September 4 (7:00 AM) September 8 (7:00 AM)

  • December 24 (7:00 AM) December 28 (7:00 AM)

• Perform procedures including adenoidectomy, audiograms, lump/tumor removal, and tonsillectomy

• Average patient volume of approximately 2 4 cases per day

• EPIC EMR system

• Support from anesthesia, CRNA, and surgical department teams

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Otolaryngology

• Active Nebraska medical license or ability to obtain one (Compact license accepted)

• DEA certification

• Clean malpractice history

• Current NPDB self-query (within 30 days of presentation)

• Availability confirmed at time of submission

Additional Details:

• Coverage needed to support staffing shortages and maintain trauma designation

• Credentialing timeframe is approximately days

• Travel accommodations are arranged per facility guidelines
