Why This Respiratory Therapist Role Is Different
This role supports patients across Northeast Wisconsin while also assisting the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, offering a variety of patient interactions and a manageable travel schedule. It is ideal for a Respiratory Therapist who enjoys hands‑on patient care while maintaining a strong connection to the branch.

Key Highlights

Work Arrangement: On-site.

Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible).

Travel: Approximately 1.5 days per week.

Coverage Area: Green Bay, WI and support for the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Reimbursements: Mileage reimbursed at $0.70 per mile.

Salary range

$32 - $36 per hour. Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

What You’ll Do

Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow‑ups.

Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and elevate concerns appropriately.

Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs.

Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams.

Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop.

Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non‑invasive ventilation.

Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper operating condition.

Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO₂, spirometry and gathering vital signs.

Perform other duties as required.

What We Look For

Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active SC RT license.

Open to various experience levels; preference for experienced candidates.

Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 – 50 lbs.

Valid driver's license.

Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations

Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy.

Hold a current CPR Certification.

Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice.
