Job Overview
The Sycamore of River Falls is a growing, full-service senior living community with 84 apartments including 68 blended independent and assisted living and 16 memory care apartments in a secured neighborhood on first floor. The property has four villa patio twin home units with two bedroom and three bedroom options for active, independent seniors. The apartment building consists of a variety of studios, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, and two-bedroom units. The underground parking garage has 50 parking stalls, maintenance rooms, and residents’ storage area. Located in River Falls, WI.
Week 1: Mon 6am-2:30pm, Wed 6am-2:30pm & Thur 9:30am-6pm
Week 2: Mon 6am-2:30pm, Wed 9:30am-6pm, Thur 6am-2:30pm, Sat 6am-2:30pm & Sun 6am-2:30pm
This position is responsible for dining room and to go meal service to residents.
Responsibilities
Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting
Follows meal serving schedule and procedures
Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs
Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques
Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures
Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up
Follows proper work flow to stay on task
Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service
Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift
Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction
Welcomes residents and initiates conversation
Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc
Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate
Required Qualifications
