Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field from an accredited institution.
Certifications: Valid Texas OT License, BLS certification, Home Health experience certification (preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of home health experience; prior experience working as an occupational therapist in a home health setting; familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Other: Ability to work Monday‑Friday, strong communication skills, attention to detail, physical ability to visit multiple patients per day.
Job Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in their homes.
Execute therapy sessions focusing on improving patients’ daily living and motor skills.
Collaborate with family members and caregivers to ensure continuity and success of therapy programs.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress in EMR systems.
Monitor patient safety and adjust intervention plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
