We are searching for a Housekeeper/laundry aide to support the functions of our facility. The primary purpose of this position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the department as directed by the Supervisor.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate excellent time management skills.
Work well with team members.
Follow proper infection control protocols.
Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, mopping and dusting.
Collect and remove trash and debris.
Attend department and staff meetings as directed or called.
Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments; non-routine assignments as directed.
Perform assigned tasks in accordance with established cleaning and disinfecting procedures and facility policies.
Label or mark personal articles of clothing (blankets, sweaters, etc.) for laundry with identifying information including name, barcode or reference number as appropriate.
Record production and inventory information in accordance with facility policies (i.e., pounds of laundry, loads, etc.).
Prepare linen and supply order to meet established par levels as directed by the Laundry Supervisor to replenish stock and/or replace frayed or torn items.
