Join our team as our van driver. Our driver is responsible for safely transporting students and staff to or from school, activities, or programs as scheduled by the center and for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle.
Duties
Safely operate center transportation in accordance with state and center rules and regulations.
Ensure the safety of children within the driver’s direct care.
Maintain order and discipline during transport.
Communicate with parents, students, and staff in a courteous and respectful manner; respond accordingly to needs.
Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the center vehicle, including cleaning of the vehicle and alerting the director when the van needs gas or servicing.
Follow all center policies and state regulations.
Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
Responsible, mature, and safety-conscious.
At least 21 years old.
Clean driving record.
Able to react quickly to emergency situations.
Must clear a full background check.
Must pass health screening.
