What You’ll Do
Provides assistance and guidance to the EET teams
Map future growth and direction of EET
Prepare and execute documents in a paperless format for US Customs and other government agencies
Track shipments
Assists Import Processing Team with processing entries for submission to Customs and Border Protection
Billing
Manage clients regulatory and carrier compliance issues
Maintain and organize all records for their client’s transactional events
Training new employees
Provide input to General Manager on work performance for EET staff
Provide input to General Manager on annual reviews for EET staff
Counseling employees when necessary
Interviewing potential candidates
Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; industry experience preferred.
Previous office experience required.
Knowledge of International Logistics – all modes
Basic understanding of Customs Process
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook and Excel and ten‑key skills.
Communicates routinely with employees at all levels and externally with customers, agents, consignees, and prospective clients to coordinate and oversee daily operations.
Develops and maintains strong relationships and contacts within accounts assigned to their portfolio.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, rates, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
Holds significant responsibility for safeguarding and controlling highly confidential information (including customer data, future plans, policies, and financials), where unauthorized disclosure could negatively impact the company’s operations or competitive position
Demonstrates self‑motivation and sound judgment; maintains strict confidentiality; and models professionalism by being friendly, punctual, organized, positive, and able to work independently.
Effectively solves practical problems in environments with limited standardization and leads the team to interpret written, verbal, and visual instructions while organizing, prioritizing, and executing multiple concurrent tasks and projects.
