Locums - Pontiac, Michigan Hematology/Oncology Opening

Support a well-established outpatient oncology practice during a recruitment gap while enjoying a predictable weekday clinic schedule. This opportunity offers strong clinical support and a collaborative care environment.

• ASAP - July 31, 2026

• Outpatient Clinic Coverage:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday

  • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

• Optional night call

• Optional weekend 24-hour call

• On-call requirements: Clinic call only

Reason for Coverage: Recruitment gap (search for full-time physician ongoing)

• Oncology & Hematology outpatient clinic

• Previously a two-physician practice with NP support

• Average 15-20 outpatient visits per day

• EMR: Cerner

• Oncology RNs

• Medical Assistants

• Social Worker

• Dietitian

• Nurse Navigator

• Onsite infusion center

• Onsite CBC capabilities

• Participation in tumor board required

• Hematology outpatient care

• Oncology outpatient care

• Multidisciplinary collaboration

• Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology - Required

  • Truly Board Eligible providers will be reviewed

• Active Michigan license - Required (IMLC not accepted)

• BLS & ACLS - Required

• Familiarity with Cerner EMR - Preferred

This is an excellent opportunity for a locally licensed Hem/Onc physician seeking consistent outpatient coverage with optional call in a supportive, team-based setting.
