Monday-Friday Clinic: 8:00 AM - 4:15 PM
Nightly weekday call
24 hour weekend call
Multi site coverage required (3 sites - 2 are clinic and call and 1 is call only)
Credentialing timeframe: 90 days
Requirements
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
Fellowship trained
Virginia license
BLS
AIUM certification - Highly Preferred
Required Procedures / Skills
Amniocentesis
Chorionic Villus Sampling
Pre eclampsia
Multiple pregnancy management
Growth restriction
Chromosomal abnormalities
Congenital abnormalities
Pre term labor
Hypertension
Thrombophilia
Genetic disorders
Birth defects
Vaginal birth
Cesarean birth
Management of fetal or maternal comorbidities associated with high risk pregnancy
Cerclage - Preferred
Assignment Details
Practice setting: Office and inpatient
Average patients per day: 27
Physicians in practice: 1 per site (2 provider service across two facilities)
APP support: 1 NP rotating between sites
Exam rooms: 3
Onsite ultrasound: Yes (GE 10)
Support staff: RN clinic educator, sonographer, genetic counselor, front office team
Low risk pregnancy volume: 5%
High risk pregnancy volume: 95%
Nursery level: III
EMR: EPIC, Viewpoint
