Plastics - Hand Surgery Physician

Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Sought to Provide 24-hour Trauma Call Coverage on a locum tenens basis.

Details:

• ASAP - December 2026
• Seeking about 20 days per month
• 7a-7a 24hr call coverage for a Level One Trauma Center
  
• Ages 15 years and up
• Number of Plastic Surgeon in Practice: 1 (Hand coverage), 1 community provider (Plastics), 2 hospital employed (Ortho Hand)

Case Volume:

• Average: 1 surgical case per month
  
• Summer months: Approximately 3 per month
• Annual ER Volume: 90,000

Clinic Responsibilities:

• In-person response when procedures are required
• Supported through Trauma Clinic: Tuesdays, 9:00 AM 12:00 PM
  

Required Procedures:

• Hand-related procedures
• Traumatic hand reconstruction
• General plastic surgery procedures including Facial laceration repair, Scar revisions, Skin grafts, Flaps
• Minor burns

We pay weekly via direct deposit, coordinate your travel, and reimburse for your travel expenses such as airfare, lodging, rental car, or mileage. Medical Malpractice coverage is provided complimentary to you.
