
Certified Nursing Assistant - Full Time Day

Pay Range
Base Pay: $24.65 to $27.82 per hour (based on union scale)
Weekend Differential: $1.50 added to base rate
Day Shift Hours
6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Rotating 3‑Week Schedule
Week 1: Sun, Tue, Wed, Thu (off Mon, Fri, Sat)
Week 2: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat (off Sun, Thu)
Week 3: Sun, Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat (off Tue, Wed)
Note: The rotation follows a 3‑week cycle. The specific week a new hire starts will be determined from their start date.
What You’ll Do
Provide excellent personal care to elders, including meal service, bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, incontinence care, and transfers/mobility.
Check each resident routinely to ensure personal care needs align with their wishes.
Assist with the emotional, social, leisure, and spiritual needs of elders.
Maintain a safe, sanitary, and comfortable home by providing companionship and emotional support.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Report all changes in an elder’s condition to the assigned nurse supervisor according to policy.
Uphold residents’ dignity and respect at all times.
Receive CPR renewal, First‑Aid renewal, Food Worker Permit renewal, and continuing education at no cost.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
1–2 years of Certified Nursing Assistant experience (new graduates encouraged). Prior elder care or assisted living experience highly preferred.
Active Washington State Nursing Assistant Certification in good standing.
Washington State Food Worker Card (required within 14 days of hire).
CPR + AED – BLS Certification due within 30 days of hire.
First Aid Certification due within 30 days of hire.
WA DSHS Dementia Specialty Training Certificate and WA DSHS Mental Health Specialty Training Certificate required within 90 days of hire.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
