
Phlebotomist
Labcorp, Lake Havasu City, AZ, United States
Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Lake Havasu, AZ at 2082 Mesquite Avenue, Suite 114, Lake Havasu, AZ 86403.
Working hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm and rotating Saturdays, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed.
Job Responsibilities
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
Bilingual in English / Spanish.
Additional Job Standards
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
