
Senior AI/ML Scientist – Neuroclinical

Senior AI/ML Scientist within the Neuroclinical AI team at Siemens Healthineers Digital Technology & Innovation in Princeton, NJ. This role leads the development of advanced machine learning models supporting clinical decision‑making in neuroimaging applications, and drives end‑to‑end AI/ML initiatives from problem definition and data strategy through model development, validation, and clinical integration.
Responsibilities
Leading the translation of clinical workflows into AI/ML problem definitions, data strategies, and model requirements
Designing and implementing advanced deep learning architectures and algorithms
Driving validation strategies, including statistical evaluation and clinical relevance of models
Leading cross‑functional efforts across data collection, annotation, model development, and validation
Managing and prioritizing multiple AI/ML initiatives
Contributing to intellectual property, publications, and external collaborations
Proposing and driving new AI/ML‑based initiatives aligned with product and research strategy
Mentoring junior team members and influencing technical direction
Staying at the forefront of AI/ML research and applying state‑of‑the‑art techniques
Minimum Qualifications
PhD (preferred) or MS with strong experience in Computer Science, AI, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
5–10+ years of experience in AI/ML, including deep learning
Strong experience with Python and frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
Proven track record of delivering AI/ML models in real‑world applications
Experience working with complex datasets (ideally medical imaging or healthcare)
Strong ability to lead problem‑solving efforts and communicate complex ideas clearly
Experience contributing to publications, patents, or research collaborations
Benefits & Compensation
Base pay range: $185,340 - $254,848, subject to factors such as geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
