Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Certified Sterile Compounding Technician located in Greater Houston. The role involves preparing sterile compounded medications in compliance with USP 797/800 standards, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, accurately labeling and packaging medications, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The technician will also collaborate with pharmacists and team members to ensure patient-specific solutions of the highest quality are prepared and delivered on time.
Qualifications
Proficiency in sterile Compounding and strong familiarity with USP standards
Knowledge and experience in Pharmacy operations and Pharmacy Technicians' tasks
Competency in Laboratory Skills, including equipment use and aseptic techniques
Excellent Communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team
Certification as a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician is preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety protocols
Understanding of compliance requirements and regulatory standards
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or training in pharmaceuticals is a plus
