OrthoArizona has served the Greater Phoenix community since 1994. It is a physician-owned orthopedic and musculoskeletal care group with more than 200 healthcare providers, including over 80 orthopedic specialists, across 25 clinics in the Valley. The organization is expanding service lines to include cardiology and is seeking enthusiastic cardiology medical assistants to support the launch of pre-operative cardiac services.

Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Medical Assistant Responsibilities
Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including taking vitals and recording patient history.
Input and maintain appropriate EMR documentation.
Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean, well-organized, and equipped with necessary supplies.
Conduct EKGs, perform blood pressures, and intake of patients.
Support providers during patient examinations and treatments.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and monitoring voicemail and phone calls.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
Current CPR certification
Understanding of basic cardiology terminology, procedures, and diagnostic tests.
Ability to perform EKGs
Expierence withPrior Authorization for GLP 1s.
Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail: Accurate documentation of patient information and test results.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
At least two years of experience in a cardiology medical office
At least two years of experience with EKGs
1+ year using an EMR with ModMed
