Job Overview
The Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Physical Therapist is currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Ohio. This individual will work within a team oriented sports medicine rehabilitation program. These services are offered via outpatient service sites to patients who have disorders and conditions associated primarily with orthopedic and sports‑related injuries.

The Sports Medicine Physical Therapist works under the general supervision of the Director of Sports Medicine and the Sports Medicine Rehab Team Leader. The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients in accordance with the laws and rules that govern the practice of physical therapy in Ohio. Team members collaborate with rehab assistants, athletic trainers and other participants in patient care activities. The therapist practices within the Medical Center’s policies and procedures and demonstrates the Intensive Caring Value through positive patient/guest relations, effective interactions with staff, and the formulation and attainment of developmental goals.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school, or equivalent combination of education or experience.

Current license to practice physical therapy in the State of Ohio.

0–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
