Job Summary
Performs patient and non-patient related tasks under the order, direction and immediate supervision of registered physical, occupational and speech therapists.
Job Requirements
Education: High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
Facility Specific License/Certifications
AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
Essential Functions
Performs direct and indirect patient care duties under the supervision of appropriately licensed professionals, as delegated by department professionals and management.
Assists with patient transport and transfers.
Provides daily and timely patient chart documentation of interventions and services provided in the acute care setting. Documents employee and out-patient treatments, as necessary.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
