About the Role
We are seeking a
Production Technician
with hands‑on experience in
aerospace manufacturing or precision manufacturing environments
to support the build, test, and assembly of high‑reliability components and systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring products meet strict
quality, performance, and safety standards
required in the aerospace industry.
The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a regulated, documentation‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
assembly, fabrication, and production processes
for aerospace components and subassemblies
Read and interpret
engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and BOMs
Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized production equipment
Conduct
in‑process inspections and functional testing
to ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards
Follow
AS9100, ISO, FAA, or customer‑specific procedures
Accurately document production activities, inspections, and non‑conformances
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve build issues
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑compliant work environment
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience
as a Production Technician, Manufacturing Technician, or similar role
Background in
aerospace, defense, aviation, precision manufacturing, or electromechanical assembly
Ability to read
technical drawings and engineering documentation
Experience working in a
regulated manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and quality
Basic computer skills (ERP/MRP systems a plus)
Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
Experience with:
Composite layup, mechanical assembly, avionics, or propulsion components
Micrometers, calipers, torque tools, and other precision measuring instruments
Familiarity with
AS9100 or FAA‑regulated manufacturing
Soldering, cable harnessing, or cleanroom experience
A&P License or technical certification (a plus)
Ability to obtain or hold a
security clearance
(if applicable)
