Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Cutter Operator to run and maintain a Gerber Paragon HX automated cutting system. This role is critical to ensuring accurate, efficient cutting of materials while maintaining high quality and production standards.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor the Gerber Paragon HX cutting machine
Load and unload materials (fabric, composites, or other substrates)
Set up cutting jobs based on work orders and digital files
Inspect cut parts for accuracy, defects, and quality standards
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
Troubleshoot basic mechanical or software issues
Coordinate with design, CAD, and production teams
Maintain production logs and report issues promptly
Follow all safety procedures and shop protocols

Requirements
Experience operating CNC cutting systems (Gerber, Lectra, Eastman, or similar preferred)
Basic understanding of CAD/CAM file workflows
Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
Basic computer skills
Preferred Experience
Experience with Gerber systems or equipment from Lectra
Knowledge of nesting software and material optimization
Background in textiles, composites, or manufacturing environments
