As a
Quality Control Lab Tech , you’ll be at the forefront of our innovation by ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of all analytical testing that supports our products, customers, and manufacturing operations. You’ll collaborate with a diverse group of scientists, engineers, and operations partners to deliver sustainable solutions that advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life.
In this role, you will:
Perform analytical testing on raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished goods while following all SWP and SOP requirements.
Prepare laboratory reagents, standards, and solutions with accuracy and precision.
Document results in lab notebooks, SAP, and LIMS to ensure complete data integrity.
Communicate test results promptly to operations and cross‑functional partners.
Troubleshoot out‑of‑specification results and support root‑cause investigations.
Execute testing related to customer complaints, discrepancies, and investigations.
Assist with instrument qualifications, method validations, and basic preventive maintenance.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized laboratory environment, including proper chemical disposal.
Support the development or revision of SWPs, SOPs, methods, and reports.
Train new team members on laboratory procedures, safety, and testing methods.
Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success
Associate degree in Chemistry or 5 years’ experience in an industrial manufacturing laboratory
Minimum education: HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Experience with one of the following analytical techniques: physical property testing, wet chemistry
Highly self‑motivated individual, focused on providing high quality laboratory data in an efficient manner, while exhibiting excellent workplace skills
Solid background in Microsoft Office and computer‑based instrument control systems for analytical equipment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced problem‑solving skills and the ability to make competent, independent decisions in a timely manner to ensure excellent progress on assigned tasks
Ability to effectively manage multiple and/or changing priorities with minimal to no supervision
Must possess the ability to interact effectively and professionally with internal customers, external customers, vendors, and various stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications that Drive you Forward
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
Industrial chemical manufacturing laboratory experience
Analytical experience with advanced instrumental techniques like GC, LC, ICP, and NMR
Analytical chemistry experience
Experience with LIMS and SAP QM modules
Experience with proper usage and administration of Lab notebooks / e‑log notebooks
Experience with root cause problem solving techniques and tools
Experience with Statistical Quality Control methodologies
Experience working in ISO9001/14001 environments
Experience with internal auditing
