Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical issues using manuals, schematics, and tools.
Repair or replace faulty parts (e.g., bearings, gears, motors, pumps).
Operate and maintain machines like lathes, mills, and grinders.
Fabricate and repair precision components from technical drawings.
Produce tools, jigs, and fixtures for maintenance tasks.
Inspect and test parts to ensure proper function and specifications.
Perform routine maintenance to reduce downtime and optimize performance.
Assist with installation and modification of machinery.
Conduct daily equipment checks and report issues to supervisors.
Follow all safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Requirements
Prior experience with machine tools and industrial machines.
Excellent knowledge of machinery parts.
A high school qualification or equivalent certificate from GTI.
An apprenticeship involving mechanical operations would be advantageous.
Professional knowledge of safety protocols.
