Position Summary
A Shop/Generator Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventive maintenance and start‑ups on generator equipment including automatic transfer switches at the branch. This position will primarily focus on technician work but will also require supporting inventory and vendor deliveries.
Essential Job Functions
Perform preventive maintenance on power generation equipment and automatic transfer switches
Troubleshooting engine and electrical repairs
Process required paperwork within deadlines
Maintain parts inventory of service truck
Provide excellent customer service
