Heavy Motor Vehicle Mechanic (91B)

This is a full-time, on-site role for a 91B Heavy Motor Vehicle Mechanic available in various locations in the North East Region. The position involves performing regular maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting for a range of heavy motor vehicles and equipment. Additional responsibilities include identifying mechanical issues, conducting inspections, and ensuring vehicles are operational and in compliance with safety standards. Collaboration with a skilled team and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities are also key aspects of the role.
Qualifications

Experience in Vehicle Maintenance, Maintenance & Repair, and Heavy Equipment handling
Strong Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly
Demonstrated Supervisory Skills to guide and oversee maintenance teams effectively
Knowledge of safety standards and procedures relevant to heavy vehicle operations
Additional qualifications such as certifications in mechanics or vocational training in automotive mechanics are a plus
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
