Overview
Charge Nurse – NICU Nights leading a NICU team in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The role focuses on patient-first outcomes, clinical excellence, and nursing leadership within a high-acuity center.
Responsibilities
Report to the Unit Director and oversee a multidisciplinary team during night shifts.
Manage unit flow, mentor junior staff, and ensure seamless communication between pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and neonatal specialists.
Support shared governance and frontline-driven process improvements to maintain high standards of care.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) with NICU experience; leadership or charge nurse experience preferred.
Ability to work night shifts in a Level III NICU; strong collaboration and communication skills.
