Radiology Technologist

Summary
Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical tasks, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties necessary.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.

Perform minor invasive procedures.

Support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.

Manage radiology information system (RIS) data.

Handle file room duties and general clerical tasks.

Assist physicians and transport patients.

Perform other related duties as necessary.

Qualifications

ARRT certification in Radiology within 6 months or registry‑eligible.

State of Florida radiology license.

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Educational background: Technical Radiology or Associate's degree in Radiology.

Education
Essential: education or equivalent experience of a technical radiology background.

Credentials

BLS (Basic Life Support)

Florida radiology license

ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) relevant specialty and within 6 months

Experience

CT Technologist

MRI

Radiology (non‑essential)

Work Details

Facility: BayCare Health System, Diagnostic Imaging-WHH

Location: Winter Haven

Shift hours: Monday – Friday, 4 p.m. – 12 a.m.; Shift 2 (Evenings)

Weekend work: None

On‑call: Yes

Remote work: Never

Status: Full‑time, exempt: No
