Hale Makua Health Services is a Maui based non-profit that improves the well‑being of those in its care through compassionate personalized health services. We are devoted to helping Maui's Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua's Wailuku location is a 90-bed nursing facility.
The Position
We're looking for passionate Registered Nurses to help us with providing professional nursing care to residents following established policies and procedures of the facility.
Conduct accurate physical assessments of residents, determine their needs and implement appropriate interventions to meet those needs.
Collaborate with physicians, consultants, and agencies to improve quality of services and resolve identified problems.
Administer and maintain inventory of resident medications/treatments as ordered by the physician and according to policy and procedures.
Oversee care delivery by CNAs.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii.
Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviation.
Experience in geriatrics and current nursing standards of practice preferred.
Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in‑house).
First Aid and CPR preferred (can be done in‑house).
