Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist for our free-standing Emergency Department Silverleaf. This is a full-time night shift opportunity for an experienced RRT to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with breathing disorders
Administer respiratory therapies
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests
Monitor and manage mechanical ventilators for patients requiring respiratory support
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide patient education and support on proper breathing techniques, medication usage, and lifestyle changes
Maintain accurate and complete patient assessments, treatments, and progress documentation
Education & Credential Requirements
Associate of Science required
Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS) preferred
Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy preferred
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
Additional Requirements
Driver's License - DMVDMV
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
