Do you bring out the star in your students? Taylor Robinson Music believes in learning to play from the heart. We are looking for private music instructors, especially for piano, who share our philosophy.
We do not have a brick‑and‑mortar studio, but we have students needing teachers ASAP. Lessons can be held in the student’s home, in your own home or studio, or via webcam. While most students prefer in‑person lessons, anyone willing to travel within the Kennesaw area is welcome.
Responsibilities
Teach piano (or other instruments as needed) remotely or in‑person.
Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
Travel to students’ homes as necessary and keep track of travel time.
Maintain punctuality, strong communication with the office, and organized lesson management.
Help retain students and manage your own student retention rate.
Follow COVID‑19 precautions: wear a mask, sanitize hands, practice social distancing where applicable.
Qualifications
Formal music training is not mandatory, but a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience is required.
Experience or aptitude working with children.
Compensation is paid on an independent contractor basis, ranging from $20 to $30 per hour based on travel time, experience/education, and student retention. We handle advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing so you can focus on music.
