CALL COVERAGE DETAILS

• 24-hour call coverage: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
• Call only
• In-house call: No
• Call type: Beeper
• Includes up to 4 hours of daily rounding

Call Structure:

• 1 Midwife (CNM)
• 1 OB/GYN
• 1 MFM

SCHEDULED DATESJune: 18, 22July: 7, 8, 10, 13Ongoing need beyond listed dates.WHEN PHYSICIAN MUST COME ONSITEThe on-call OB is called in for:

• Trial of labor after cesarean (TOLAC)
• Cesarean/antepartum rounding if no MFM on call
• Maternal transports
• If requested by CNM, ED, or consulting physician

Physician does not need to:

• Round on OB patients managed solely by CNMs
• Sign off on CNM care unless case meets escalation criteria

AVERAGE ONSITE TIME (ESTIMATED)

• Consult: D&C: 1 hour
• Laparoscopy/C-section: up to 2 hours
• TOLAC: Remain until delivery
• Average total onsite time typically does not exceed 6 hours
