Job Summary
The University of North Georgia seeks a qualified student employee to serve as a Presidential Ambassador within the Office of the President. The role involves mentoring associate ambassadors, providing high‑quality customer service, and supporting events and communications for the Office of the President. The position is part‑time, limited to 25 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Report to the Program Coordinator.

Mentor Associate Presidential Ambassadors in soft skills, technical skills, and knowledge of the Office of the President.

Provide discreet and high‑quality customer service to individuals of all ages and high‑level constituents.

Recruit, train, and coordinate additional staff volunteers for large‑scale events.

Communicate event information to stakeholders, faculty, staff, students, and parents.

Enforce all policies and procedures related to the Office of the President.

Utilize Microsoft Office applications to prepare spreadsheets, reports, and planning materials for events and special projects.

Assist with event processes associated with the Office of the President, including special events.

Answer phones, greet and direct guests, handle on‑campus pickups/deliveries, and perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Participate in a bi‑weekly staff meeting.

Collaborate with full‑time staff members and other student workers to assess the needs of the Office of the President.

Enthusiastic approach to delivering high‑quality customer service and professional demeanor.

Willingness to dedicate adequate time to the program.

Availability for staff trainings/meetings and at least 8‑15 hours per week, plus participation in special events throughout the academic year.

Ability to lift and/or carry a minimum weight of 35 pounds.

Required Qualifications

Enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.

Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in administrative work, graphic design, and organizing special events (preferred but not required).
