Role Overview
Position: Executive Assistant to CFO & Chief People Officer
Location: New York, NY, USA
Compensation: $96,000—$132,000 USD, plus equity and benefits.
AlphaSense is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and tech‑savvy Executive Assistant to support our CFO and Chief People Officer. This high‑impact role ensures the seamless day‑to‑day operation of our G&A leadership, empowering critical functions as the company scales.
What You’ll Do
Drive Efficiency for the CPO & CFO: Ensure both executives’ time and attention are focused on the highest priority initiatives by expertly managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating cross‑functional communications.
Administrative Excellence: Own a high volume of operational tasks, including calendar management, meeting preparation, expense reports, and complex travel arrangements.
Operational Support: Coordinate and help execute leadership meetings, all‑hands, offsites, and planning sessions. Track follow‑ups and ensure timely execution of key deliverables.
Communication Liaison: Interface with People and Finance leadership, broader G&A stakeholders, executive peers, and other internal teams with professionalism and discretion. Draft or coordinate communications when needed.
Project Coordination: Support special projects across the People and Finance organizations, including coordination of goal reviews, planning cadences, onboarding schedules, and documentation updates.
Meeting Preparation: Prepare or source materials for internal and external meetings (e.g., HR & Finance agenda items, strategic decks, financial KPIs, board updates, etc.).
Time Optimization: Ensure both executives are where they need to be, with what they need—whether that’s context for a 1:1, a set of slides for a leadership sync, or a clear buffer between high‑stakes meetings.
Who You Are
Experienced EA: You’ve supported senior executives (VP or above) in People, Finance, or similarly cross‑functional environments, ideally within high‑growth B2B SaaS companies.
Business Savvy: You can hold your own in conversations spanning strategy, operations, finance, and people topics— you don’t need to be a subject matter expert, but you know how to engage, absorb, and act on complex business contexts quickly.
Detail‑Oriented & Organized: You don’t let anything fall through the cracks and can juggle many moving pieces without losing focus or quality.
Professional & Discreet: You act with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism across all interactions—particularly important given the sensitivity of People and Finance matters.
Prioritization Pro: You’re a master of time management—able to identify what’s truly urgent, what’s strategic, and how to keep momentum across two distinct executive functions simultaneously.
Strong Communicator: You write and speak clearly, and you’re comfortable representing your executive in written and verbal communication across levels.
Self‑Starter: You take initiative and proactively solve problems, always staying a few steps ahead of what’s needed.
Culture Carrier
You bring energy, warmth, and a sense of calm to your work, helping create an environment where others can do their best work.
