Overview
As a Product Coordinator, you will undergo a comprehensive 6–9-month training program designed to prepare you for a Product Coordinator role. You will work alongside seasoned professionals to learn the essentials of business-to-business (B2B) sales, lead generation, customer relationship management and product category oversight. Up to 25% travel.
Responsibilities
Learning & Development: Participate in structured training sessions on sales techniques, product knowledge, and CRM systems.
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Source, qualify, and develop new business leads through outbound calling and networking.
Customer Engagement: Assist with client relationship management, providing product information, and delivering quotes.
Sales Support: Shadow Sales Representatives, attend sales meetings and provide administrative support to the sales team.
Market Research: Research market trends, competitor activity, and identify new selling possibilities.
Performance Metrics: Work toward individual sales activity KPIs (e.g., calls made, meetings booked) and product category growth goals.
Qualifications
B.S. degree in Food Science, Packaging Science, Business, or related field preferred.
0-2 years of experience in sales or customer service (or a strong desire to start a career in sales).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly motivated, self-confident, and results-driven individual.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if travel is required).
