Position Overview

Hospital-based anesthesia coverage with a collaborative care team.

Typical daily staffing: 1 MD and 4 - 5 CRNAs (5 - 6 total).

ORs: 4 - 6.

Case Mix / Clinical Expectations

No trauma; no OB.

Approx. 4,900 cases/year; bread & butter general, ortho, GYN, and GI.

CRNAs perform some blocks; must be proficient with spinals, blocks, and epidurals.

Required Qualifications

Active NC license.

AHA certifications only (no exceptions): BLS, ACLS, PALS (NRP as applicable).

Case logs required (within the past 2 years).

Credentialing / Onboarding Items (must be provided)

Credentialing timeframe: 61 - 90 days.

NBCRNA board certificate.

Education diploma (MSN/CRNA, etc.).

Driver's license (color copy) and professional photo.

Current CMEs.

Immunizations: Hep B, MMR, TDAP, TB (within 12 months), Flu (within 12 months), Varicella.
