Oncology RN - Outpatient Clinic

Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse Outpatient (Greenwich, CT)

We re seeking an experienced Radiation Oncology RN to join our outpatient cancer care team in Greenwich, Connecticut.

This is a Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. schedule (no weekends or holidays).

What You ll Do:

• Deliver expert, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric oncology patients.

• Coordinate and implement patient care plans, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations.

• Support continuity of care through clear and timely communication with multidisciplinary teams.

• Educate patients and families about treatments, side effects, and community resources.

• Administer medications safely, including emergency medications for CT simulations.

• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, universal precautions, and hospital policies.

• Provide compassionate support to patients with complex or terminal conditions.

• Uphold professional nursing ethics and act as a role model for colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Valid Connecticut RN license

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

• Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) preferred; required within 24 months of hire

• Current BLS certification

• Extensive knowledge in oncology nursing with excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills
