Job Summary
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. This role includes developing individualized care plans, providing direct therapy, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and assess patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
SNF/long-term care experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
