We're looking for full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Tuscaloosa, AL area. About the Position of Assistant Manager
As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively. Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures and standards, scheduling mechanics/technicians’ work, managing outside orders, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and the safety of team members.
About the Position of Service Manager
The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under‑car repair services. The Service Manager must direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians and stage vehicle repair/maintenance work. While driving the sales initiatives of Mavis, Service Managers must communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, ensure customers are satisfied with their in‑store experience, and strive to meet customer expectations.

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant/Service Manager, you must: 1) be at least 18 years of age; 2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and 3) possess at least one year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, automotive repairs/maintenance, or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
