A Day in the Life
The Senior Manager, Partnerships & Activation will own and maximize Lendistry’s portfolio of sports and community partnerships, including but not limited to WNBA and NWSL team relationships. This role is responsible for ensuring these investments translate into measurable business outcomes across brand, capital markets engagements, and small business pipeline development. This individual will lead both strategy and execution, working cross-functionally across Marketing, Sales, Capital Markets & Customer Experience to integrate partnership assets into a cohesive, year-round platform. The role requires a highly strategic operator who can manage external relationships, drive activation excellence, and convert partnership opportunities into tangible business value. They are expected to be a conceptual thinker with superb communication, problem-solving skills and an outstanding eye for detail. What You’ll Be Doing
Own the end-to-end strategy and performance of Lendistry’s sports and community partnership portfolio (e.g., WNBA, NWSL, and future partnerships).
Develop annual and multi-year partnership strategies aligned to company growth, capital markets & Lendistry’s mission/objectives.
Serve as the primary relationship owner with team partners/players, league stakeholders, and external agencies/agents.
Lead the planning and execution of all partnership activations, including entitlement events, in-arena presence, and community programs.
Ensure flawless execution across all touchpoints, including game‑day ops, hospitality and branded experiences.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams (creative, social, PR, events, digital) to deliver high‑impact activations/deliverables.
Translate partnership assets into measurable outcomes including brand awareness & engagement, small business pipeline and application flow, investor and capital partner engagement.
Partner closely with the Marketing, Sales, CEC, Capital Markets and Executive teams to align sponsorships with business development opportunities and growth strategies for Lendistry.
Works with Marketing Department shared resources teams (email automation, communications/PR/social media, graphic design, web design) on all projects.
Partner to develop content including social media, PR and investor storytelling related to partnerships.
Build and manage a year‑round calendar tied to partnership activations and key moments in and off season maximizing the relationship during the offseason.
Lead offseason planning, including but not limited to performance analysis & ROI assessment, partnership renewal and negotiation strategy, identification for new opportunities and continuous optimization based on performance insights.
Using excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail, oversees Marketing content for sponsorship and partnership related materials.
Learns, masters, and enforces Lendistry brand standards.
Schedules kick‑offs, and follows timelines to support projects day‑to‑day through completion.
Represent the Lendistry Marketing team both internally and externally in an overwhelmingly positive manner.
Due to the nature of this role, it will involve being onsite at sporting events and travel to sporting events in other markets.
Demonstrates a high level of reliability, accountability, and time management, with the ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities and adjust work schedules as needed to meet critical deadlines and ensure project alignment, including availability outside of standard business hours when required.
Contributes to broader organizational goals by supporting strategic initiatives and taking on additional responsibilities or projects as business needs evolve.
Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise
5+ years working in a sports sponsorship/partnership or corporate marketing environment.
Master's Degree in related field preferred.
Experience working with and presenting ideas to team leaders and negotiating with/supporting stakeholders.
Direct experience in partnerships at sports team organizations.
CRM experience preferred, especially Salesforce.
Strong analytical skills – has a clear methodology and a consistent approach.
Ability to connect marketing initiatives to business outcomes and ROI.
Strong external relationship management and negotiation skills.
Experience working cross-functionally in complex organizations.
Ability to execute multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
Results‑driven professional with strong business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to manage competing priorities in deadline‑oriented environments.
Tech‑savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint and SharePoint), and a quick learner who applies creative problem‑solving and analytical thinking to drive outcomes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal and networking abilities to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
Demonstrated strength in time management and project management, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team while navigating ambiguity and adapting to evolving business needs.
Position will require up to 20% travel.
Compensation Range
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $125,000 - $130,000 annually.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
