Spine Surgeon Independent Contractor

Overview

Seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon to work as a 1099 independent contractor at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing on-site patient care for about 4 hours weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities

Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams to deliver both surgical and non-surgical treatments for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. Active communication with employers and case management are essential.
Qualifications

Experience with work-related injuries preferred
State licensure and unrestricted DEA license
Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage required
