Schedule: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Canton, Georgia 30115
Minimum of 2 years experience within specialty pharmacy. Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia is required.
Responsibilities
Assists pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders.
Performs technical duties related to handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals.
Demonstrates proficiency in at least two specific pharmacy function areas: production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding, and home care/outpatient.
Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
