Responsibilities
Assess and determine the comprehensive mental health needs of clients across all ages and diagnoses.
Conduct client screenings, psychosocial assessments, progress notes, and referral information.
Deliver services to clients in the community; no requirement to go to an office.
Utilize evidence‑based practices to enhance clinical outcomes of clients.
Identify resource requirements necessary to fulfill identified needs.
Collaborate with caregivers, physicians, school counselors and other health care professionals to ensure optimal client care.
Advocate for patient access to community resources.
Communicate treatment plans and progress to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Facilitate and offer individual and family therapy on psycho‑social issues such as coping skills, stress reduction, and caregiver support.
Demonstrate professionalism to reassure patients of their care by a skilled and compassionate professional.
Candidate Requirements
Must reside within the State of Florida.
Education: Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or related field.
Organizational and time‑allocation skills; flexibility to meet client scheduling needs in homes, schools, and other community settings.
Ability to document therapy services in an electronic medical records (EMR) platform.
Compassionate, engaging, and with a strong desire to help others.
We will review candidates who hold degrees or majors in Rehabilitation Counseling, Human Services, Forensic Psychology, Community Counseling, Psychology, Youth Counseling, Human Development, Behavioral Science, Art Therapy, or Psychiatric Rehabilitation; such transcripts must include at least four class codes covering content from:
