Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities, including assessment of activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patients’ functional independence and quality of life.
Provide hands‑on therapy one patient at a time, including therapeutic interventions, adaptive techniques, and training in the use of assistive devices for improved functional outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on strategies for safe movement, injury prevention, and maximizing independence in daily activities.
Document patient progress and communicate with referring healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate and patient‑centered approach to care.
Employment Options
Options range from full‑time to part‑time (with benefits), per diem, and floating positions.
