Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Insurance Biller, located in Lakewood, NJ. The Medical Insurance Biller will be responsible for managing insurance claims, processing reimbursements, resolving claim denials, and ensuring compliance with medical billing codes, including ICD-10. The role includes verifying patient insurance coverage, following up with insurance providers, and maintaining accurate billing records to support the operational success of the organization.
Qualifications
Knowledge of Medical Terminology and a strong understanding of Insurance processes
Proficiency in navigating claim denials and resolving issues efficiently
Experience with ICD-10 coding and Medicare billing requirements
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
Familiarity with medical billing software and related tools
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in medical billing or coding are a plus
Effective communication and collaboration skills to interact with team members and providers
