Role Description
This is a part‑time, on‑site role for a Pediatric Dental Hygienist located in Howell, MI. The Pediatric Dental Hygienist will provide comprehensive oral care to young patients, including dental cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, and oral hygiene education. Responsibilities include implementing infection control standards, assisting with patient comfort, and collaborating with the dental team to deliver the highest standard of care. The role also involves monitoring patient progress and ensuring a positive, child-friendly environment for all visits.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Dental Care practices, with expertise in handling pediatric patients
Knowledge of Infection Control procedures and adherence to safety standards
Experience with Dentistry techniques, including Dental Prophylaxis and the application of Sealants
Exceptional communication and patient interaction skills, with the ability to create a comfortable and friendly environment for children
Current licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in the state of Michigan
CPR certification and knowledge of pediatric dental care protocols is preferred
A strong passion for working with children and promoting positive oral health habits
